New Canada law would allow assisted suicide for seriously ill

OTTAWA (Reuters) - Canada's Liberal government on Thursday unveiled draft legislation on doctor-assisted suicide which would apply to adults suffering serious and incurable illness and where death is reasonably foreseeable.
